For over 40 years Dr. DuHamel has attended thousands of hours at post graduate seminars on orthodontics and airway management. We have consistently invested in the latest technology and techniques to serve our community.
At DuHamel Family Dentistry we offer two types of whitening.
Dr. DuHamel has been treating sleep apnea with oral appliances for over 25 year and became credentialed as a Diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2006. Oral appliance therapy (OAT) is now approved as first line treatment for mild and moderate sleep apnea. OAT is also approved for the treatment of severe sleep apnea when patients cannot tolerate CPAP therapy.
Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) are disorders of the muscles and functions of the face and mouth. OMDs may affect, directly and/or indirectly, facial skeletal growth and development, chewing, swallowing, speech, occllusion, temporoandibular joint movement, oral hygiene, stability of orthodontic treatment, facial esthetics, airway and more.
All complaints of pain or discomfort are thoroughly diagnosed and patients are given multiple treatment options. Our doctors and staff are trained and experienced in many surgical and root canal procedures. We also have excellent referral sources for complicated cases and compromised patients. If you are an existing patient and have an emergency that cannot be taken care of during regular office hours, please call our office and you will be given emergency directions.
